What is "Managed Services"?
Managed Services is a program designed to monitor computer systems 24/7. With Total PC's Managed Services we detect and correct computer or computer network related issues before they become problems. We remotely monitor your IT system’s performance around the clock. In the case we do find any problems while monitoring your IT system, Total PC can fix it right away. Our managed service is a low-cost proactive service. You pay an easy to budget flat monthly fee instead of spending large amounts for surprise repairs and accompanied downtime. In addition we take care of routine IT tasks for you so you can reduce or eliminate your IT staffing requirements. We take care of deploying Windows Updates and patches, managing anti-virus software, detecting and removing spyware, and monitoring backups and resource availability. As part of our managed services, we also provide a help desk for all your IT-related questions.
Total PC has three levels of managed service plans to fit your needs; System Monitor, Proactive Care, and Total Support. Each is described below.
System Monitor (Level 1) –
With System Monitor, each or your computers, computer networks and connected devices are monitored 24/7 and preventative maintenance automatically performed. Findings are accumulated and reported, and alerts generated upon critical events. Reports of findings and preventative maintenance performed are generated monthly and presented to you, and every quarter we visit you, onsite, and review our findings, efforts, and make sure we’re supporting your needs. In addition you get a Client Support Portal where you can search our knowledge base, review the data collected on your computer system, request service or check open support status. System Monitor includes:

• Hard Drive S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology that detects and reports on various indicators of reliability)
• Antivirus Definitions Kept Up-To-Date (checked every four hours)
• Detect and Remove Spyware
• Hard Drive Space
• Temp File Removal
• Backups Checked and Verified
• Microsoft Patch and Update Deployment (automatically installs only tested and approved patches)
• Assets and Inventory (hardware and software assets and settings)
Proactive Care (Level 2) –
Proactive Care gives you preventative maintenance plus remote remediation all in one. We provide all the automatic and scheduled services of System Monitoring, and in addition we make corrections and perform all of the needed services that can be applied remotely. We take care of your systems so you don’t have to worry or be distracted from your important business.
Total Support (Level 3) –
Total Support gives you everything it implies, TOTAL SUPPORT. You get system monitoring, unlimited remote support plus unlimited onsite support. And as real PLUS you get 24/7 Help Desk support as well. That’s around the clock phone support for any computing questions you or your staff might have. Total Support is complete end-to-end support for your computer systems.
